Effective January 1, 2016 CTV will not be accepting or soliciting any new projects, while its principles
take CTV “back to basics” to explore a number of exciting technological advances available in todays
marketplace, such as CLOUD Mirroring Content, Artificial Intelligence Interactivity, Cable Industry
partnerships, and new production techniques.

Once our dedicated team has upped the ante and brought on a fresh new look and approach, we will once
again actively produce our shows for our existing and new clientele.

HTA’s Festivals of Hawaii Campaign Wins International Awards

On September 19, 2007, the International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) announced the recipients of its prestigious IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards at the IFEA Convention & Expo in Atlanta, Georgia. HTA was presented with eight awards, including five gold awards, for the organization’s Festivals of Hawai’i Post-Arrival Promotional Campaign. The awards included:

– Best (local) Full-Length TV Program
– Best Ad Series
– Best Single Magazine Display Ad
– Best Miscellaneous Printed Materials (single page)
– Best New Promotion

– Best TV Promotion (ad spot or PSA)

– Best Media Relations Campaign
– Best Single Magazine Display Ad

The Festivals of Hawai’i Post-Arrival Promotional Campaign, “Celebrations of Diversity and Aloha,” was created for the Hawaii Tourism Authority by Convention Television, and launched in January 2007. The campaign was developed to support Hawai’i’s brand diversity and aloha through festivals. Promotional elements include in-room television spots, a concierge program, advertising and public relations campaign, and the Japanese translation of various elements of the promotional campaigns. The IFEA was founded in 1956 and is the premier association supporting and enabling festival and event professionals worldwide.
